Distinction means a special difference and The Lake Forest Lady Eagles of Distinction (LOD) club for middle school ladies, recognizes the importance of being remarkable! The Lady Eagles act as ambassadors to LFC as greeters at school functions and while traveling out of the city limits to attend youth leadership summits.

The core values of the Lady Eagles of Distinction are academic excellence and responsibility to self, family, school, and community. Every year LOD sponsors several community service events such as “Gloves for Love”, which donates winter gloves and apparel to neighboring shelters. At bi monthly meetings the ladies share a space of sisterhood while participating in arts and crafts, college planning forums, study group, and book club.
